Silchester Village Hall and the Village Tea Party

The Village Hall committee has been busy continuing with the improvements following on from the completion of the building work. We have refurbished the main hall floor, replaced the broken fence and re-turfed the area outside the clubroom. Last weekend we had a group of 14 volunteers from Silchester Association, Cherry Trees Pre-school, and Silchester players help paint the Clubroom outside and the toilets inside. We have also replaced the sanitary ware and toilet seats. We have plans to repaint the main hall and do the clubroom floor in the school holidays.

The Village Tea Party

We are running a fundraising raffle in the run up to The Village Tea Party on Sunday 20th July 2014 from 2pm-4pm. This is your chance to come along and see the work that has been done on your Village Hall and our plans for the future. You can also help choose the colour scheme for the redecoration of the main Hall.

The Mayor of Basingstoke Roger Gardiner , who is our local Councillor, and the Mayoress Tricia who used to be our Parish Clerk will be calling in and drawing the raffle.

Come and see us for a free cup of tea and cake! Children Welcome.
